SCRIP PROGRAM

When you purchase SCRIP merchant cards, you are donating to our Building Fund. SCRIP is a program that helps nonprofit entities to earn extra money for their organizations. Saint Mary Magdalene Parish uses the proceeds from SCRIP sales to benefit our Building Fund.

Purchasing SCRIP cards is very simple. Just fill out the order form, turn it in with your payment at any Mass on the weekends or at the Parish office during normal business hours. Your order will be available the next weekend for pickup. Orders are accepted the second week of each month. During the holiday season we are accepting orders more frequently. Please check the bulletin for order dates.

There are many merchants that are included in the SCRIP program. A few of them are: Albertsons, Safeway, Barnes & Noble, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Blockbuster, JC Penney, Kohl’s, Kmart, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Dicks Sporting Goods and many, many more. You can view all available merchant cards by visiting the Great Lakes Scrip website, If the merchant of your choice is not on the order form please write their name in on the bottom of the form.

Local merchants you can find on the SCRIP website include Bashas’, Fry’s, Baci Italian Bistro and Serrano’s Fine Mexican Food. See the order form for more information. The Basha and Fry’s cards are reloadable at the store, which means you do not need to order another card only ask the customer service desk to assist you at these stores to add more funds to your card. St. Mary Magdalene will automatically reap the benefits of you reloading your card.
