Parents with Young Children Ministry
This group is designed for anyone who has a child from infant through 11 years of age. We encourage the entire family to attend our social and community service events. We plan to meet at least once every other month to go on an outing or perform a community service project as a family. Our ministry currently has one playgroup that meets about four times a month for parents with children from infant through 5 yrs of age. We will also plan a Mom’s night out and a Dad’s night out without the kiddos. Our year will end with a group camping trip in early June.
Purpose of the Group
The group’s purpose is to minister to each other and to the community in which we live. Additionally, we hope to provide our children with a family oriented environment with God at its core. We will do this through our social gatherings as well as community service projects. In participating in these events you will meet other members of the parish, get to know them and become active members of the wonderful community of St. Mary Magdalene. Together we can help create a strong foundation on which our families’ faith and love for God can grow.
If you have children older than 11 they are also welcome to all our events. We invite the whole family from young to old to join.
