Why is it called GS24?
GS24 stands for Gaudium et Spes 24, a Vatican II document, which says, "man, who is the only creature on earth which God willed for itself, cannot fully find himself except through a sincere gift of himself." This idea of learning how to give ourselves to God and to others is central in the mission of GS24. We've chosen this name as a reminder to all of us that we find our true happiness in loving and serving.
Our teen discipleship group meets on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm at The Coffee Shop by Joe's Farm Grill on Higley & Ray (3000 E Ray Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85296). This group is for teens interested in deepening their relationship with Christ through Bible study, discussion, and community.
