Matching Gifts toward General Fund & New Rectory

Hello St. Mary Magdalene,

I pray that the joy of this Easter season and the Resurrection of our Lord abides deep in your heart!

I write today as a bit of a follow-up to my February 2, 2024, State of the Parish address (you can find that video here: youtu.be/4DFV41k4gm4). In that video I gave a brief overview of our financial status and how we are doing as a parish. As a result of that video, I had two families approach me wanting to help our parish by pledging to match financial gifts. The first family has pledged to match gifts up to $15,000 to help our parish’s general fund.

The second match is for $25,000 towards the new rectory. I am humbled by these two families’ support and by all who will make a pledge towards these matching gifts!

If you would like to the $15,000 matching gift towards the parish then please put “general match 2024” in the memo section. Donations can be made via Faith Direct or dropped off at the parish office. If using Faith Direct, make sure you use the “one-time gift” option with “general match 2024” in the memo.

If you would like to match the $25,000 rectory gift, please use “rectory match 2024” in the memo section of your donation. Donations can be made via Faith Direct or dropped off at the parish office.
